The Benta Sports Association, founded in 2000 in Érd on the initiative of Gábor Szanyi-Nagy, has undergone significant development. The association was able to expand and started teaching judo in Százhalombatta, Tárnok, Sóskút and Pusztazámor, in addition to Érd. Since 2008, under the leadership of János Krausz, the sports association has been aiming to increase the number of members and to promote judo for all age groups. The opening of a separate gym in 2014 opened a new chapter in the life of the association, allowing the membership to grow further, now reaching 150 members. Benta SE’s activities are complemented by a CrossFit team and regular senior training sessions, proving that the association has become an important player not only in judo but also in community sports.
The concept of Benta Floor flexible sports flooring was born in 2014, when the Benta Sports Association was given the opportunity to build a judo hall to meet its specific needs. Existing technologies proved inadequate: they were either too hard, which did not cushion falls sufficiently, or too soft, which slowed down movement. After much testing, a material and design was found that was ideal for judo and other martial arts, perfectly cushioning impacts while allowing fast and dynamic movement. With the new floor, the number of frequent injuries has been significantly reduced.
CrossFit is a unique way to combine weightlifting, gymnastics and cardio to maximize strength and endurance.
Each training session is new and varied, thus constantly presenting new challenges to the trainers, which motivates them and helps to avoid boredom.
Crossfit improves mobility and general physical condition, helping to develop and maintain a healthier lifestyle.
